Art Gallery Afternoon

There is something understandably relaxing about strolling and admiring pieces of art around a beautifully designed gallery. Taking in the carefully designed work by many a person over the years, art is something one learns to appreciate. Obviously there are some pieces I have no interest in, but other pieces I take rather a fancy to. I am quite the fan of modern art - something I saw a lot of in France.

NZ FASHION WEEKEND

Fashion Week is possibly my favorite event of the year. It is a time to appreciate fashion and ones personal style, this time is where we see the incredible styles from people all around the world. Fashion is about more than just clothes, fashion is showing who you are through what you wear, a simple color can represent so much, a choice of shoe, a decision to wear that bag we pick these things for a reason more than just because it looks good or because we're lazy. I went to a show in NZ Fashion Weekend which presented Andrea Moore, Taylor and Storm.

Britomart

Hello,

Sorry for the lack of posting but I have been in Bali for the past week where I lived in bikinis, tees and shorts. Escaping ones life for a week can be quite refreshing, meeting new people, creating new memories and trying new things has really widened my mind and given me hope in certain areas again. Being back in Auckland in rain, wind and cold was a shock to the system but having good people surround me makes it alright. I went into Britomart in Auckland city with my friend Charlotte, I love Britomart, if you live in Auckland and haven't been do!

I hate being sick, not being able to breathe through my nose is fabulous, but dressing up for a blog post always puts me into a good mood, especially when it's with red lipstick and this gorgeous bag. Apologies for firstly not posting in a while and secondly because my hair looks terrible but I have been sick.
